Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

Indigo Kids Farm is located in the heart of Franklin County, in western
Massachusetts. We started our herd with one pygmy goat, who of course needed a
friend. We wanted a small goat that would not bully Nikita, our pygmy. That’s
when we stumbled across Nigerian Dwarf goats. We acquired “Maggie” (Mending
Wall’s Three, on our senior does page and still a cornerstone of our herd). From
there on in, we were hooked on these little goats! Since then we’ve managed to
build up a herd of top notch little dairy goats carrying some of the best
bloodlines in the country. We no longer have any Pygmies, but are up to about 40
Nigerians, and our two resident mini-manchas.
